He Now Shares His Experience Of Being Brought Back To Life
Alistair Blake, a 61-year-old male, claims to have been dead, and gone to the “other side,” returning after paramedics attempted for 90 minutes to save Alistair from cardiac arrest. Alistair calls the occurrence a “life-changing” event. [i]
While sleeping beside his wife, Melinda, Alistair states that he started having a medical episode. He explained how Melinda awoke at around 3 am to find him sitting “in a worrying state.” She said Blake’s gurgling noises woke her from her slumber because she is a light sleeper. She immediately grabbed her phone and frantically dialed the emergency number. [ii]
Melinda was instructed by emergency personnel to take her husband off of the bed so that she could perform CPR. Although Melinda states it felt much longer, for 20 minutes, she performed CPR on Alistair. Finally, the paramedics arrived, hitting Alistair with the defibrillator and performing CPR. Alistair states he believes they tried the defibrillator at least ten to twelve times. [iii]
Watch the video below for Sherry’s story on ‘crossing over’ during cardiac arrest; the same ailment Alizair was experiencing, also dead for 90 minutes.
As time went on, it seemed that Alistair might not make it. Melinda states that a cop informed her that Alistair would not likely survive. After 90 minutes of attempting to save him, they finally found a pulse. Melinda could not believe the miracle she had just witnessed. [iv]
It took nearly a week before Alistair finally woke up at Frankston Hospital, with zero signs of brain injury, despite his ninety minutes without a pulse. Alistair says he only remembered going to bed on Saturday night; the next thing he knew, he was waking up in the hospital. He states that everything else in between is blurred out. [v]
Charlotte Holmes describes her similar experience in the video below.
Alistair states that although he feels like the incident changed his life and way of thinking, he said he didn’t see any bright lights or anything whatsoever during the 90 minutes he was without a pulse. He further asserts that although the event was traumatic, it has generated a new appreciation for life within himself and his wife through her witnessing it. [vi]
With each of these three different accounts of their experiences following death, it is unsurprising no definitive answer has been reached as to what happens to us when we die.
